Gopher Broke Productions Inc.
is an award-winning production company driven by the creative talents of Mark L. Maness, Producer/Director and Randal Files, Writer.

Gopher Broke's first official project was the music video “Like a Pro” for the rap artist R.U.F.U.S. The video subsequently went on to earn a coveted “Telly Award” and critical acclaim.

Mark and Randal
are committed to moving Gopher Broke in the direction of feature film and television production.

While Birthrite is
Gopher Broke’s first feature project, Mark Maness and Randal Files are experienced in feature production. Mark has produced the features “Tomorrow Never Comes”, for TNC Productions, “Top Cop”, for Crown International,

and served as Director of Photography and Editor for the kids feature “Little Marines II”, by Magic hour Productions.

Randal is author of the critically acclaimed novel “Close to the Edge”, and supplied acting talent in “A Soldier’s Story”, by Director Norman Jewison, and the second lead in “Top Cop”, working with now partner Mark Maness.

Randal and Mark are committed to producing quality work in whatever they do, and they’ve carried that mission statement over into Gopher Broke Productions.
